Children’s Christian Center is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Center Director to join our team.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be flexible, dependable, and able to effectively manage a fast-paced, multi-tasked workload while supporting both staff and families.

Pay:
Compensation is based on education and experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Associate Degree required).
Minimum of 2 years experience working with children required.
Previous director experience preferred.
Must pass all state and federal background checks.
Must complete a health assessment and TB test.
Knowledge and understanding of DHS regulations required.

Job Duties:

Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility and ensure compliance with DHS regulations.
Manage employee schedules and time-off requests.
Maintain daily communication with staff and parents.
Conduct classroom observations and assist teachers with implementing approved strategies.
Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff members.
Create and maintain employee files to ensure compliance with DHS and Keystone STARS regulations.
Manage child files to maintain DHS compliance.
Provide classroom coverage as needed.
